AA Navigator Update

Following on from the AA Navigator post I have resolved most of the issues bar one.

Currently if I power down the PDA and power back up the GPS shows as unplugged. Rescanning is a hit or miss affair. However a soft reset fixes it immediately. Power back on and off we go.

Have mailed AA Navigator with problem but don't expect to get much of a response as the Acer N35 isn't on their officially supported list. The N30 (Mio 168) uses comm 2 at 4800 baud. The N35 uses comm 8 at 9600 baud.

So we'll see

I'm glad I didn't go tbh, Donncha O Caoimh was filming all and sundry at the event and refuses to acknowledge the rudeness of doing that. I think it's just plain ignorant tbh.

Having had a lot of problems with the aa navigator & given how well the manufacturer hides their contact details, I feel that it is only fair that I remedy this by publishing them, so feel free to contact them! (After all if the product was as good as it should be, then you won't need them will you?)
